About flickasaurus
I saw the movie...
In the Mood for Love and it spoke to me! I wanted to create images similar to the work of Wong Kar Wai and Christopher Doyle. I bought a camcorder and began shooting videos (all of that was before YouTube). The years went by and my first camcorder became obsolete; the technology of my youth became ancient dinosaurs that time left behind. I grew old and I never did anything with the ideas that kept me awake at night. But those ideas still linger in my mind and I am lucky enough to still have that old camcorder, it is not as good as the day I bought it; but keeps waiting patiently for one last adventure and a final goodbye.
Together with my old friend I intend to walk those places I was meant to wander years ago but never did. I can't say I will be living those experiences again because I didn't follow through the first time and to have those dreams and leave them unfulfilled is madness when you are able to make them come true. That is the meaning of this website to make myself accountable for finishing my unfinished projects.
